Our PhD designed tools are the culmination of years of research. We started by answering the obvious questions:
- Why don’t more people participate?
- What am I learning from the data?
Our research shows that people don’t respond, or respond candidly to most surveys because they fear retaliation or bridge burning. They do not believe that their response is truly confidential and anonymous.
- We fixed that
– our system’s structure makes it readily apparent to any demographic that confidentiality and anonymity are absolute.
We also knew that most surveys asked the wrong questions and/or asked them in the wrong format.
- We fixed that
– by understanding that respondents act a certain way by choosing 1-5 or using other scale based metrics.

Exit interviews are a very important tool in understanding why people left. Wouldn’t it be great to find out before they leave?

By polling them at this critical juncture, with the properly formulated questions, the attrition cycle can be cauterized.
Our PhD science will identify the correct questions, and will recognize the responses that should be directed to more probing questions.
Exit interviews combined with Milestone Assessments present a compelling tool for employers. By understanding why people separated, that data can be applied to the Milestone Assessments to both track correction of issues and graph new issues.
Milestone Assessments – great idea.
